As area visitors enter the exhibits from the lobby, they will experience “The Pathway to a better Humanity,” a living mosaic of digital faces centered between the display areas.

 

Museum of Humanity Los Angeles

The Museum of Humanity was founded in 2003 by Byron and Karen Barnes as The Monument to Humanity Research & Learning Center, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit public charity.  In 2013 a ‘DBA’ The Museum of Humanity Los Angeles was announced.. In 2015 The Monument to Humanity received a major private gift which allows the next level of development to proceed.

It is the intent of MOHLA to continue its current fundraising efforts with the goal of raising additional significant contributions by the end of 2016 in order to fund construction and content of the first phase museum annex of (approximately 5000 square feet) either within the Port of Los Angeles or Port of Long Beach.
